Three Southeast Communities to Improve Quality in Youth Programming
The Ready by 21 National Partnership is proud to announce the awardees of the Ready by 21 Quality Improvement & Asset Building Challenge Grants (Q&A Challenge). Wicomico County, MD; Asheville, NC; and Ft. Myers, FL showed a broad cross-sector commitment building assets for children and youth and so were selected to be part of the Q&A Challenge first cohort.

Ready by 21 Institute Engages Leaders from Across the Nation
On August 3-4, the Forum offered a Ready by 21 Institute in Washington, D.C. The training’s main objective was to expand participants’ understanding of the rationale and thinking behind the Ready by 21 strategies and increase the knowledge base on the research behind Ready by 21, as well as the practical and conceptual tools that help to convey it.

Forum Convenes Scholars Studying Research Use in Policy & Practice

At the Making Ohio Schools Work conference, twenty school administrators from the Buckeye state discussed how Ready by 21 could be applied to their districts and schools. This workshop is part of the American Association of School Administrators' (AASA) strategy to meet educational leaders where they are -- in this case, at their state administrator conferences.
