Trevor Davies
Trevor is a Senior Program Associate for the Weikart Center.
He provides coaching and consulting services to the Weikart Center’s clientele, including Michigan’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC). Trevor comes to the Weikart Center from the City of Wyoming Parks and Recreation Department where he oversaw a large, collaborative 21st CCLC program. During his tenure with Wyoming’s Parks and Recreation Department, Trevor coordinated the T.E.A.M. 21 after-school program, serving more than 500 children each day after school. With his assistance, the program received multiple 21st CCLC grants and built a unique partnership that now spans four public school districts and the municipal parks and recreation department. Trevor looks forward to leveraging his knowledge of Michigan’s 21st CCLC network, relationship building skills, and commitment to positive youth development to advance the Weikart Center’s mission.
Trevor obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University (WMU) where he majored in Recreation and minored in Communications. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Communications from WMU with an emphasis on organizational communication and leadership.
