During 2006, High/Scope worked with the Forum to provide training and technical assistance to several state and regional networks which are building quality improvement and accountability systems.  Any of these communities are part of the Forum for Youth Investment's Ready by 21TM state and local policy network.  In each community, High/Scope staff met with and presented to local decision-makers and provided one- or two-day pilot training workshops for parishioners and program leaders.   This report summaries our initial reflections on how networks around the country are approaching quality assessment and improvement, the range of opportunities and challenges they face, and the extent to which the Youth PQA has been useful in advancing that work.
