Ian Faigley
Ian is a Senior Program Associate at the Forum for Youth Investment where he engages the Forum’s work related to state and local policy and manages the partnerships with national membership organizations such as the National Conference of State Legislatures and the National Governors Association.
Ian joined the Forum in October 2007. Before coming to the Forum Ian helped found and expand the Council for Nonprofit Innovation, a think tank focused on improving the performance of organizations in the nonprofit sector through conferences, training, and consulting. Ian also spent two years as a Program Instructor with the Close-Up Foundation, a teaching organization focused on civic education, and one year as a graduate assistant at the Charterhouse School in Surrey County, England. In 1998, Ian graduated from the American University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on legislative politics and grassroots lobbying. While in college, Ian co-captained the American University lacrosse team, and continued his playing career after graduation in New Orleans and England.
